YB Senator Dr. Jufitri Joha

President — World Trade Chamber Malaysia
Malaysian Senator, public-policy advocate and institutional leader
YB Senator Dr. Jufitri Joha, President of World Trade Chamber Malaysia

Message from the President

Malaysia’s long-term prosperity depends not only on domestic economic strength, but also on its ability to build trusted international relationships, attract responsible capital and position Malaysian capabilities confidently in global markets.

As geopolitical and economic conditions evolve, constructive engagement between governments, institutions, investors and industry becomes increasingly important. Malaysia is well placed to serve as a stable hub for projects within the country, across ASEAN and throughout priority Muslim-majority markets.

World Trade Chamber Malaysia advances this ambition through informed B2G, G2G and institutional engagement. Our mandate is deliberately two-way: to facilitate credible international participation in Malaysia and to support Malaysian technologies, GLCs and companies pursuing international expansion.

Public Leadership Profile

YB Senator Dr. Jufitri Joha serves in Malaysia’s Dewan Negara as a Senator representing Negeri Sembilan. Chosen by the Negeri Sembilan State Legislative Assembly, his term began on 25 August 2025.

His public leadership record is shaped by extensive involvement in Malaysia’s civic and youth-development landscape, including service as President of the Malaysian Youth Council. This experience has given him a broad perspective on public policy, social development, institutional cooperation and the aspirations of Malaysia’s emerging generation of leaders.

As President of World Trade Chamber Malaysia, he brings public-policy awareness and national leadership experience to the Chamber’s international economic engagement, reinforcing its commitment to credible dialogue, responsible investment and long-term cooperation.

Strategic Perspective

In an interconnected world, changes in global markets, supply chains, technology and geopolitics have direct implications for national resilience and economic opportunity. Institutions must therefore understand both the international forces influencing Malaysia and the capabilities Malaysia can offer the world.

Dr. Jufitri’s leadership perspective places emphasis on informed dialogue, institutional trust and partnerships grounded in mutual benefit. This approach supports WTCM’s role in connecting public-sector priorities with commercially credible opportunities and international relationships.
